Welcome to Beccles Lido We are now closed until May 2012
aerial photo by Mike Page Beccles Lido Limited is a community run charitable organisation who bought the Lido from Waveney District Council and re-opened it in 2010. In total we have invested over £300,000 raised through fund raising events, our Lottery, donations and grants. Since we closed in September 2010 we have carried out an extensive program of refurbishment of the filters and the chlorination system; we have excavated nearly 50metres of pipes and repaired leaks that were costing £thousands in wasted water and heating; and we have installed a Solar PV system to generate our electricity.
We will be running both the cafe and Ice Cream sales at the pool again this year. If anybody has a few hours they could commit to us please contact Rose on 01502 712369 or Dinah 01502 710931
