About
us
The Parsnipship is no longer
a one man band, namely, Ben Moss. Yippee!!!
Since March 2009 we've grown to eleven members and cover most of South
Wales, Somerset, Wiltshire, Dorset and Staffordshire.
We've recently been granted
Vegetarian Society Approval
for our business, through membership of their influential Food and Drink
Guild.
More 'Parsnips' are coming on board all the time, via just a small advert
on the Ethical
Junction website, and word of
mouth, and still the major cities haven't been taken. For The Parsnipship
it is important to sustain the level of uniqueness and quality with our
ever evolving products and we've therefore chosen an organic growth pattern
for the business: to let it gather it's own momentum and for all of us
to be along for the ride.....but remember you'll need to be quick to secure
the markets of your choice!!
Ben has cooked pretty much everything at one time or another, been a head
chef all over, for 15 years, but after a dead dog market encounter, in
Sulawesi, 11 years ago now, he finally saw the light. Since then he's
been searching for a way to make an ethical living without having to run
to the expense of running a vegetarian restaurant. Thus The Parsnipship
was born. And now, with like minded individuals, we really feel we can
make a difference to the second class treatment of vegetarians & vegans
throughout the lands.
