Martin Way Methodist Church,
Buckleigh Avenue,

The band was founded in October 2012. We have 27 regular players and a few more who join us when they can. We have a good mix of instruments, but are always willing to welcome new players aged 18+ where there are vacancies. Our standard varies from Grade 3 to Grade 8 and above. We have a wide repertoire: jazz, show tunes, fim and TV themes, pop and rock songs, and even a bit of classical. We aim for up to six concerts/performances a year.

This page is a shameless rip-off of Geoff Rousell’s excellent resource listing amateur orchestras in Britain ( UK Amateur Orchestras ).

My intention is very similar to his, namely to help players find a group to play in.
