 Rev
Robert Powell trained for the ministry of the Methodist Church at
Queens College, Birmingham with a concurrent degree course at
Birmingham University. Having served in the Elmdon, Sutton Park
and Bloxwich &
Willenhall circuits he came to Stratford with his wife, Joyce, in
September 2005. Bob and Joyce have two adult children and three
lively
grandchildren. "Living on a large map" has always appealed to Bob both
in seeing the
wholeworld as the concern of the local church and recognising the
diversity of theology and understanding within and outside our
church. Experience of life in a variety of places and in
ecumenical partnerships is proving useful as we build our relationship
with other churches in Stratford.
